Working Principle of V-type Powder Mixer
The V-type mixer consists of two asymmetric cylinders of different heights. The transmission system drives the cylinder to rotate 360° continuously:
1. During rotation, materials gather and disperse repeatedly in the two asymmetric cylinders. The height difference creates a potential energy difference, promoting lateral material exchange.
2. In each full rotation, about 25% of the material flows back and forth between the two cylinders, accompanied by radial flow, achieving alternate decomposition and recombination in both horizontal and radial directions.
3. The mixing process is gentle, without mechanical extrusion or strong friction, preserving the integrity of material particles. Full and uniform mixing of two or more powders/granules can be completed within 5–15 minutes.
