A dual-action mixing system combines a variable-speed low-shear agitator (0-86 rpm) for gentle, thorough bulk blending with a high-torque high-shear homogenizer (0-6000 rpm) that achieves micron-level particle reduction, creating ultra-smooth, stable emulsions with consistent texture and extended shelf life. The vacuum operation effectively eliminates air entrainment, preventing oxidation and foam to preserve the potency of sensitive active ingredients.
Equipped with dedicated water and oil phase pre-mix pots (1200 rpm agitation) for precise pre-processing, an electric lifting mechanism for effortless loading, discharge, and CIP cleaning, and an intuitive PLC control panel for precise speed, temperature, and vacuum adjustment, this emulsifier streamlines workflows, minimizes downtime, and ensures batch-to-batch consistency.
How Does The Vacuum Homogenizing Emulsifier work?
Firstly, the water phase tank prepares water-based components. Purified water and water-soluble raw materials like moisturizers, preservatives and thickeners are added strictly per formula, then preliminarily mixed fully to lay a foundation for later emulsification
Secondly, the oil phase tank undertakes the configuration of oil-based components. Correspondingly, various oil raw materials and oil-soluble raw materials are put into the oil phase tank in a standardized manner, such as natural plant oils, mineral oils, esters, waxes, oil-soluble vitamins and other lipophilic ingredients. These materials are stored and prepared independently in the oil phase tank to avoid premature mixing with water-based components and ensure the purity of each phase material.
Secondly, the oil phase tank handles oil-based components. Standardized oil and oil-soluble raw materials such as plant oils, mineral oils and lipophilic vitamins are added here, prepared independently to avoid premature mixing with water-based ingredients and ensure material purity.
Thirdly, the prepared water and oil phase materials go through simultaneous heating and stirring. Temperature is controlled accurately, with continuous low-to-medium speed stirring to fully dissolve and disperse raw materials, reaching a stable process-compliant state.
Fourthly, qualified two-phase materials are transferred to the main emulsifying pot via dedicated water and oil phase pipes, driven by vacuum negative pressure and conveying equipment. Closed transfer prevents air contact, contamination and material oxidation effectively.
Finally, materials in the main pot undergo high-speed shear emulsification. The rotating shear head creates strong shear force to fuse two phases fully, making delicate, stable emulsions for creams, lotions, shampoos and ointments, showing the equipment’s excellent performance.
